Of Identity - a search in transit: This piece is about identity - searching for it, finding, losing, questioning, rejecting, and building it. We are all a work in progress. I am made up of particles of sand that are both grounded and impermanent, that embrace the wash of change, that revel in what that change reveals. This comes from a deeply personal space of who I was, am, and whom I search for, of love for both the countries I’ve lived in, of an embodiment of the collective experiences. It symbolizes the ardhanari in me, a fluid space of blended cultures, confusions, and everything in between.
